Congratulations to St.Augustine's Under 12 Girls who won
the Under 12 County Cup on Friday 24 March at St.Bede's
Blackburn by beating Archbishop Temple 3-0, All Hallows
3-0 and Corpus Christi 4-1 on the Finals' Day.
Congratulations to Lancashire Under 16 Boys on their 6-0
victory over Northumberland in the Northern Counties'
S.F.A. semi-final at the JMO Sports Park, Skelmersdale on
Saturday 18 March. A devastating spell of 4 goals in 6
minutes midway through the first half sealed the victory for
the Lancashire Boys who added two further goals in the
second half. Well done to all the boys in the squad on an
excellent team display. Lancashire are now at home in the
final to Cleveland or Cheshire after the Easter Holidays.

Congratulations to Lancashire Under 14 Boys on reaching
the semi-final of the ESFA PlayStation Inter-County Trophy.
The boys' are at home to Berkshire in the semi-final on
Tuesday 28 March at Poolfoot Farm, kick-off 2 p.m.
Congratulations to Corpus Christi High School, Preston on
winning the North-West Under 12 Girls' Five a Side
Competition at the Trafford Soccerdome on Friday 03
February. Corpus Christi will now represent the North-West
at the National Finals at the Birmingham Soccerdome.
Congratulations too to Clitheroe Royal Grammar School on
finishing fourth in a very strong Under 12 Boys' Five a Side
Competition, drawing their last game 2-2 with the Cheshire
Champions, the Competition Winners.
Congratulations to Clitheroe Royal Grammar School and
Corpus Christi High School, Preston on winning the
Lancashire Under 12 Boys' and Girls' Five a Side
Competition at the Blackburn Soccerdome.
CRGS and Corpus Christi will now represent Lancashire at
the Trafford Soccerdome on Friday 03 February.
Congratulations also to Briercliffe Primary School, Burnley
on winning the Lancashire Under 11 Seven a Side Schools'
Competiiton at the JMO Sports Park, Skelmersdale following
a penalty shoot-out against St.Peter's, Morecambe after the
final ended goalless. Commiserations to St.Peter's and all
the other schools who took part in an excellent tournament.

Lancashire SFA , established in 1919 and reorganised in 1974 under local government boundary changes, administers schools' football in the county from Primary through to Tertiary sectors at school, district, inter-county and, via the English Schools' FA, international levels.
LSFA provides open cup competitions for all age groups from Year 7 through to Year 13, as well as providing entry into national competitions organised by ESFA, to which body it is affiliated.
